It was early morning, and Valkyrie was standing on a rock, over looking the horizon as the sun slowly slipped above the land line, filling the world with light and warmth. She flicked her tail a little bit, before lowering her haunches to the ground. As her bi colored eyes watched the sunrise, something fluttered in front of her face before landing on her nose. Focusing her eyes, Valkyrie realized it was a little yellow butterfly.
The fae brought her paw up and went to swipe at it, but it fluttered out of the way before she could touch it. It seemed to hover beside her before looping slowly away, as if trying to tempt her into chasing it. Valkyrie looked around for a few brief seconds before jumping off of her rock and chasing after the yellow insect, a smile slowly forming on her face.
